Speed up or slow down?
Speeding up suits tutorials, recipes and long screen recordings, where 1.5× or 2× keeps the viewer moving without losing the voice. Time-lapse looks come from 3× and 4×.
Slowing down suits sports, pets and anything that happens fast. It works best with footage recorded at a high frame rate, such as an iPhone's slo-mo mode.
